It pains me to do this, but I think this picture is the most relevant thing I can post for today’s ridiculous theme of a crossword.

It’s been a busy week (look for a special announcement on Monday 👀) so I’m going to let the crossword do most of the talking. I don’t know if April Fool’s is a thing anymore (and it’s like… 4 days too early for April Fool’s) but I’m using it as an excuse to throw crossword convention out the window and make something silly.

Forget the snake voice thing, this is the dumbest crossword I’ve ever made. But I do kind of love it.

Today’s Theme

If you look carefully at each of the clues, you’ll notice that they are not written in English - only “emojicons”, or emojis for short. The answers in the grid are in English though.

Tricky Clues

5A. You might see [🍺 🍷 🍸️ 🍹] and enter ALCOHO assuming the L goes just off the right side of the grid, and that’s exactly what you’re supposed to do.

17A. This clue isn’t referencing a cool onyo internet video or a really good onion meme. It’s the TOR network/browser, used for anonymously browsing the internet.

26A. TV Mystery Dog

2D. You’re right, actually, the answer to [🖥️ 🎤👧🎶] is WOMAN SING INTO COMPUTER WHILE MUSIC PLAYS IN BACKGROUND.

28D. MEAT MORE NOT FIRE.
